Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire, a quiet community situated in the West Island of Montreal is what you might call a "sleepy" place. A lot of people who aren't aware of the name mistakenly believe that the West Island extends westward from Montreal. It is actually the West Island includes everything westward from Lachine. Lachine. Amanda Brugel is said to have been born on West Island. However, it's not the case. Brugel became a woman of a certain age living in Courtice Ontario, just outside Oshawa. The first goal she had was to become a dancer. Then, a growth rate increased her height and she outgrew all of the dance partners she had. According to an article in the Toronto Star, she revealed that she wore heels and was six feet and one inches tall. When I grew out of male companions, that's when I gave up. Brugel was one of many former dancers who turned to acting. Her high school teacher school was what pushed her in the right direction. The teacher recommended that she try out for a school production. The teacher who suggested she pursue a part the school's annual production. The show led her to receive an Fine Arts Talent Scholarship from York University. In 2000 she graduated with a BA in Fine Arts at York University. For the last twenty years, Brugel's work been featured on both the small and large screen. The most notable was her fame when she was offered the character of Rita on the award-winning TV series The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel was the character Rita in The Handmaid's Tale which was produced over the course of ten years.
