When she was 19 She released Here, her first single. It instantly became a smash that both critics and fans praised the song. It ranked 19th in both Billboard Hot 100 and the Canadian Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone named the hit one of the Best Songs of 2015. This same year, she released Know It All. Scars to Your Beautiful is one of five tracks that were the first to reach the charts of Billboard. The song is special as it was inspired by her interview with the Rap-Up show, many fans related to her journey in self-doubt as well as learning to accept herself. Cara's music is known as a source of inspiration for kindness self-love, self-love and mental wellness. The inspiration for her music is her own personal journey as she has had to deal with issues of mental health as well as insomnia. In a conversation with Reuters the singer said that her album was "half tumultuous" and "half perfected". She claims she has grown through therapy, and encourages those around her to seek assistance whenever needed. Alessia Cara was born to Italian parents on the 11th day of July 1996. When she was 10 years older, her parents bought her a guitar. This was the beginning in her music passion. She began covering her favorite songs when she was 13 to prove to the world she had the ability and confidence necessary to be a singer. One of the songs Sweater Weather eventually got her attention by a record label named EP Entertainment which allowed her to compose and record music for her.
